The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) presents benefits on their implementation of an integrated Arrival and Departure Manager at ICAO´S second meeting of the Asia/Pacific Air Traffic Management Automation System Task Force

The paper highlights the benefits of an Integrated AMAN DMAN (IAD) where both arrival and departure information are shared across the Approach and Tower Controllers through an automated environment, enhancing collaborative decision making. The IAD system reduces ground and airborne holding based on a higher degree of predictability and productivity. The system is operationally deployed by CAAS and the system supplier Frequentis Orthogon.
